Weld steel sections with the manual metal arc welding process in downhand positions
Join metals with the oxyacetylene welding process
Join metals using torch brazing and soldering
Join metals with the resistance welding process
Cut metals using manual thermal processes
- nassemble work pieces in jigs (minor amendments include the use of manipulators)

- Form III OR
- Have successfully completed the foundation course OR
- Experience acceptable to MITD
- Minimum 16 years old
